GRIT - The life and frequent death of pixel man

I've been a part of many great game dev teams but this project is my personal exploration into extreme survival and perma death.  You'll have to survive a few months on a desolate island, food is scarce and there are no signs of civilization.   You can get off the island by lasting until help arrives or building a raft and taking your chances on the ocean.   Beside counting calories, you will need to figure out which of the few plants on the island are eatable,  and how to avoid going mad from stress and loneliness.  I'd love to get some feedback on this concept, as I'll be releasing a first alpha in the coming month.
